An unidentified young man was rescued from an attempted suicide on the Ajah pedestrian bridge in Lagos.
The individual, reportedly struggling with significant economic difficulties, tied a rope around his neck and tried to jump from the bridge.
Quick-acting passersby intervened, calling for help and successfully cutting the rope before any fatal harm could occur.
