Fire Razes Aleshinloye Market, Destroys Properties Worth Millions Of Naira

IBADAN – Properties worth million of naira have been burnt to ashes when raging fire on Tuesday night razed popular Aleshinloye Market in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

In a video sighted on Tuesday night, the inferno was raging with thick flames in the late hours.

Akinyemi Akinyinka, the General Manager of Oyo State Fire Services who confirmed the incident, said firefighters were at the scene to put out the fire.

Akinyemi Akinyinka, said, “Our men are currently working at Aleshinloye market.”

As of the time of filing this report, the cause of the fire is unknown.
