PDP Chieftain Benedict Akika Freed After Six Days of Abduction
Benedict Akika, a prominent leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State and a close associate of Governor Seyi Makinde, has been released from captivity.
Akika, who founded the Omituntun Benedict Foundation, was kidnapped from his Ibadan home six days ago by armed men.
While the specifics of his release and whether a ransom was involved remain undisclosed, Akika is now receiving medical care following his return.
